Biography
Dr Ntethelelo Sibiya is a young researcher at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Recently he has been focusing on the evaluation of novel transdermal approaches to manage diabetes mellitus, primarily interested on the markers of cardiovascular, renal and cognitive function using animal experimental models. He has also been involved in the screening of medicinal-derived compounds for anti-hyperglycaemic and immunodulatory properties, using cell line models. Additionally, he is also involved in teaching and supervision of post-graduate students in the university.
